Best BOB Strollers for parents who lead an active lifestyle

From race training to routine jogging, running is a great workout,  BOB Gear produces some of the best 3-wheeled jogging and all-terrain strollers (including double strollers), and accessories, on the market. BOB strollers are suited for a variety of conditions — excursions off-road, on pavement, mixed terrain, and are ideal for parents who are athletic and lead an active lifestyle.

Introduction to Bob Gear Strollers

BOB is now owned by Britax, the world’s premier manufacturer and marketer of children’s car safety seats and strollers, and is part of the Britax umbrella of strollers.

Bob started off as a bicycle trailer company. In 1991, the founders created a single-track bicycle trailer called ‘YAK’ by attaching the trailer to the rear axle of a bike; it quickly became a rage with bicycle tourists. They wanted to name their company “Beast of Burden“, but decided to shorten it to BOB (meaning “Beast of Burden”).

After the success, the company focused on building the best jogging stroller, with a state-of-the-art suspension system and tough polymer tires. The BOB Sport Utility Stroller was soon born; its success was followed by a side-by-side double stroller (called the Duallie). The next innovation was the front swiveling wheel, which allowed easy maneuvering around sharp corners.

Since then BOB strollers have been popular with active parents.

BOB Gear strollers are great for active parents and give them the freedom to venture outdoors while their little one comfortably enjoys the ride.  These strollers are designed with the outdoors and the different types of terrain in mind, be it jogging or a walk in nature.

With the BOB Gear Strollers, you don’t have to struggle to push your stroller over a patch of gravel or on rough terrain. These strollers easily glide over cracks in the pavement, twigs, gravel, snow, and most other terrains with ease.

If you live in an area that has a lot of different terrains, or if you like to go camping or on vacation to areas with a lot of nature, then BOB strollers are perfect for you.
