Maxi-Cosi Strollers and Travel system

Every family has a different lifestyle and Maxi-Cosi makes a wide range of strollers, including 3-in-1 strollers, that are designed for every lifestyle. Use it for town, country, outdoors or for anything else. Maxi-Cosi strollers offer comfort, and are easy-to-use.

Maxi Cosi also makes car seats and many parents who own a Maxi Cosi car seat tend to use Maxi Cosi strollers due to the better compatibility between the products.

Maxi-Cosi Lila Stroller

The Maxi-Cosi Lila is a modular stroller that works with infants and can carry kids up to 50 pounds weight. The stroller also converts into a duo stroller to accommodate another child.

The Maxi-Cosi Lila is a modular stroller with eight modes of use that enables parents to adapt to their child’s needs. The stroller comes with reversing seat – the child can face you or away. It is also easy to attach a car seat – works with most Mico series infant car seats, including the Maxi-Cosi Mico Max Plus car seat.

It features multi-position reclining seat, sleek design and features that provide excellent comfort. The large wheels provide better “off-roading” and the stroller also maneuvers well in small spaces. See PRICE on Amazon.

The stroller works for infants as well as for kids up to 50 pounds, and it also converts to a duo stroller. The stroller folds up for easy storage, comes with a removable tote bag underneath, and offers features such as sun and bug shade, parent cup holder, and rain cover.

The seat folds flat making it suitable for infants, the stroller is also padded and cushioned with memory foam to make it more safer for infants. No need to buy a bassinet for your newborn.

The stroller comes packed with accessories such as: Reversible seat cushion, extended canopy, removable tote basket and accessory pouch, child snack tray, adult cupholders, rain shield.

  • What we like: Comes with ALL the accessories that would otherwise cost $$$ for other models, off-roading capabilities due to the large wheels, seat reclines completely
  • What we dislike: It’s still quite large when it’s folded. Tote bag underneath the seat is not attached to anything. Expensive (but you get a lifetime warranty for defective parts).

The Lila is a stylish looking stroller that comes with vegan leather accents, a sleek silver frame and a choice of different colors. A duo kit (bought separately) allows you to accommodate two children – a baby and toddler at the same time.

Max weight limit: Newborn to kids up to 50 pounds. Product Weight</strong>: 40 lbs. Dimensions</strong>: 38 x 21 x 15.6 inches.

The stroller is a bit expensive but you can use it from day one and it could last for around five years. It also comes with useful accessories that normally cost extra.

Maxi-Cosi Tayla Travel System

The Tayla Modular Travel System pairs with the Mico XP Infant car seat and the Coral XP Infant car seat.

Maxi Cosi Lara

The Maxi Cosi Lara is a lightweight stroller, perfect for running errands in a busy city and for weekend trips. It folds into a compact size that can easily fit in the back of a car or in the overhead luggage bin. A carrying strap makes it easy to carry when folded.

For babies 6 months and older
Max weight limit: up to 50 pounds

Stroller weight: 14 pounds
Unfolded dimensions: 24 inches (L), 19 inches (W), and 41 inches (H)
Folded dimensions: 14 inches (L), 19.5 inches (W), 20 inches (H).

4 foam-filled tires. Reclining seat, footrest, five-point harness, extendable UPF50 canopy (with peek-a-boo), storage basket, parent cup holder.

  • Pros: The ultra-compact Lara is easy to maneuver due to its swiveling wheels, and takes up very little storage space.
  • Cons: While the seat reclines, it doesn’t lie flat. It alo doesn’t come with a belly-bar (handlebar in front of the baby).
Accessing the upper basket is difficult when the seat is reclined. Does not accept car seat.

The Maxi Cosi Lara is a nice compact stroller but may seem a bit pricey as the stroller uses better quality materials.

Maxi Cosi Nova 4 Wheels

Despite being around for a couple of years the Maxi Cosi Nova is a popular travel-system-compatible pushchair with several handy features to attract parents.

Most parents would consider a stroller that offered a one-hand fold to be a great one, but how about a pushchair that offers a no-hands fold, so that you don’t have to awkwardly bend down to release a catch or pull a lever to fold your pushchair?

The Maxi Cosi offers that. The folding mechanism can be activated with a simple tap of your foot on the pedal.

  • Maxi Cosi Stroller Compatibility

I have a Maxi Cosi Mico 30 car seat seat and was wondering if it would work with a Baby Trend stroller or the Graco click systems. Will I need need an adapters?

    • Most strollers lie flat or almost flat and therefore can be used from birth. You don't need adapters in most cases. The only restrictions on age is when a stroller doesn't lay flat (3 months is usually recommended) and for joggers (only walking and no jogging for the first year).
