What exactly are baby stroller connectors & adapters?

So Stroller Connectors do work well, if you factor in the situations where it can be difficult to use.

But for the price you pay, these are minor inconveniences in my opinion.

Releasing the connectors is equally easy, you just pinch the lock tabs together and the two-piece connectors will be disengaged.
These Umbrella stroller connectors are great to hook two (or more) umbrella strollers together. When you’re with another adult, you can split the two strollers and go separate ways (if you wish). You can always reconnect the two strollers later using these connectors.
No instructions came in the box, but setup is pretty easy to figure out. They feel sturdy and make it so much easier to steer both kids together, though not ideal on rough terrain. Perfect for smooth paths, malls, and theme parks — a clever little fix for parents with two strollers.

I purchased the Prince lionheart stroller connectors to connect two of my Maclaren Volos (as I could not find any maclaren stroller connector) but I found it very difficult to push the two strollers after using those conectors. I found it hard to maneuver. There was no way I could walk around a whole park with them connected. In fact, it was easier for me to carry one stroller and push the other or just park the strollers and walk around with the two little ones.
I would say they are nice to have in case one person is left with the two strollers (and both kids are sleeping or too tired to walk), but they really can't be used to make a double stroller that you can use connected throughout your trip.
