The UPPAbaby MESA Infant Car Seat Base (designed for use with UPPAbaby MESA series infant car seats) provides flexibility to families with multiple cars. With an extra base, it becomes easier to transfer the car seat between different cars without having to uninstall and reinstall the base each time.

This is an extra base that you can purchase for your MESA and Mesa V2 infant car seats by UPPAbaby. It comes equipped with a SmartSecure System that facilitates quick and accurate installation.

Convenience for Multiple Vehicles

With the Mesa Infant Car Seat Base installed, you just have to click-in an infant car seat, thus providing travelling convenience.

The base allows you to take the baby in all the cars in your family without having to buy a separate car seat for each car; you just need the base installed in each car.

So, if you have two cars (one for mama and the other for papa) and if you have the mesa base installed in both of them, you can easily move the car seat from one car to the other, making it easy to organize rides.

Installation Options

When using the UPPAbaby MESA series infant car seat with a base, you need to use the LATCH system or the vehicle seat belt to install the car seat. Visual indicators (red-to-green tightness indicator) on the base provide confirmation about the proper installation of the seat. The base includes features such as adjustable recline angles and leveling indicators to help with proper installation.
