Here are different ways to connect two Umbrella Strollers so that you could have a twin stroller (side by side). If you already have two umbrella strollers, and have two kids, having them connected together makes it convenient when you step out.

You can always buy a twin stroller but that will turn out more expensive. Connecting a set of twin strollers is a great hack in this case. Its cheaper, and you can always take them apart and use them separately if you wish.

How to connect two umbrella strollers: Factors to Consider

Here’s how to connect two umbrella strollers. Please note that all these options are safe.

  • For best results, make sure you have two identical umbrella strollers. Variations can make it challenging to secure them together.
  • Make sure you follow the instructions when using stroller connectors.
  • Once you have connected the strollers, make sure you test the new design so that you get a feel for it, be it controlling, maneuvering, or accessing the stroller features (after they are hooked together). The maneuvering aspect, in particular, will become a bit more challenging after the setup (as the width is now more).

How to Link Two Umbrella Strollers Together

The easiest and the cheapest way to connect two strollers together is to use [easyazon_link keywords=”zip tie fasteners” locale=”US” tag=”strollers0e2-20″]zip tie fasteners[/easyazon_link] (small plastic strings). This is more of a DIY method.

Just align your strollers side by side, take several plastic zip ties and tie them around the metal tube frames.

However, a better method is to use stroller connectors; its not going to cost a lot more, and its going to be a lot more stable, especially when you take the stroller over uneven terrain.

The best option is to use Stroller Connectors to link umbrella strollers. There are lots of manufacturers who make stroller connectors (varying in designs). These are easier to connect, and offer more stability.
