These adapters fit car seats often use straps or a cradle/ring system.These offer more flexibility but may not offer the secure “click” (while making the connection) and may feel less stable.

Even if you intend to buy a good jogging stroller, please remember that babies need to be 6 to 8 months (please check manufacturer’s guidelines) before you start running with the child in the stroller.

Compared to universal adapters I’ve tried in the past, the UPPAbaby Car Seat Adapter feels more premium and stable — no wobble, no creaks, and a snug fit.
Installation was surprisingly easy. I’m not great with fiddly baby gear, but the color-coded dots made it simple to line up and click in. No tools needed, and it felt solid once locked in place. I do wish UPPAbaby included a small guide in the box though (you have to rely on common sense or YouTube).
What I didn’t realize until after a few uses was how close the seat sits to you in single mode. It actually feels more connected, and my baby seems calmer being higher up. On the flip side, it takes a little more effort to remove the car seat — you need to press just right to release it smoothly. Not a huge deal, but something you notice when juggling a diaper bag and coffee at the same time.
Bottom line: if you already own a Nuna, Maxi-Cosi, or Cybex car seat and an UPPAbaby Vista or Cruz, this adapter is a must-have. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, easy to attach, and feels safe.
Thule Jogging Stroller Infant Car Seat Adapter (Universal)
