Teach Your Dog to Sit and Ride in a Stroller

Here are some useful tips on how to make your dog sit and ride in a stroller.

• Avoid forcefully picking up and keeping the dog in the stroller, especially if your dog is unsure or terrified.
• Keep the stroller inside the house for a couple of days so that your dog gets the time to check it out (investigate).
• Keep your dog’s favorite toys near the stroller (or in the stroller) so that your dog feels comfortable with the stroller.
• Keep your dog’s favorite food near the stroller; if s/he’s nervous, gradually move closer.
