Colorful handle that easily attaches to strollers, backpacks, and shopping carts. Allows a grownup child to “tag along” by holding on to the handle.
Looking for something simple to keep your grown up kid from darting off while you push the stroller with the baby? Holding hands constantly won’t work. The Tagalong seemed like a low-effort solution that clips onto the stroller (or wagon/shopping cart) and gives the child their own “handle” to hold.
You can use it on neighborhood walks, in parking lots, and at busy outdoor markets.
It makes it easy for the child to grab it and stay roughly next to the stroller instead of wandering into the street or lagging behind. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t stick out awkwardly, and the bright color makes it easy to spot.
What surprised me was how quickly kids understand the idea of “hold this and walk with us.”
Although it’s not a magic fix for a determined runner. If your toddler is still testing boundaries hard, you may still need something more secure.
I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a lightweight, low-commitment way to encourage walking next to the stroller and your kid is already somewhat cooperative.
