Here’s a nice Stroller Hack that you should be aware of, especially if you want your stroller wheel to have a better grip on the surface. Using just a few zip ties, you can give your stroller wheels a better grip on slippery terrain.

Over time, the stroller wheel may lose some of its grip and become a bit slippery, or in some cases, it could be the surface itself that will make the ride more slipper (for example, icy surface).

As the wheel treads of the stroller wear down, it results in some poor traction in the snow, rain and even at times on a beautiful sunny day.

Here’s a nice stroller hack that you could use to make your stroller wheels get a much better grip on the surface.

  • Attach zip ties around stroller wheels
  • Cut the excess part
  • Give your stroller more traction on slippery terrain.

While this is a nice hack for slipper surfaces, the zip ties don’t stay in place on rough surfaces. Few of them will may escape off the wheels all by themselves when regularly used on snow, cement.

One dad decided to give this hack a try, and used several zip ties between each spoke. After a few trips, he noticed that some zip ties had gone missing. he observed a similar thing in winter as well as in the spring.
