Stroller Accessories

How to carry bags on a stroller (stroller hooks, straps, and other hacks)

Various ways to carry tote bags on a stroller: You can use accessories such as stroller hooks (carabiners) and stroller straps.

Every stroller comes with storage space underneath (in the basket) or you can use accessories such as a stroller organizer to create more space.

However, some parents may also carry a diaper bag in order to carry the baby’s essentials; and if you’re going to the supermarket, you will have a few bags to carry.

The good thing is that there are some accessories that will let you hang these bags from the stroller.

So, you can create extra storage space on your stroller using these stroller hacks.

You can use a tote bag to create extra storage space on your stroller. Attach/clip a large utility tote onto your stroller to make extra room for groceries when shopping.

Most stroller comes with storage space underneath, but that may not be sufficient for most moms. Besides, if you opt for a lightweight stroller, the storage space will usually be small. The stroller organizer is good enough to keep things like keys, mobiles, cups.

Here’s how you can carry more bags/shopping bags on your stroller.

Stroller Hooks (Carabiner)

You get stroller hooks (accessories) on the market that you could purchase to make space for your shopping bags on the stroller.

Attach the carabiner (hook/clip) to the stroller; once attached, you can hang your shopping bags of the stroller hook.

Here’s how you can attach a tote bag to stroller to create extra space.

Stroller Straps

Another similar solution that works very well is to use stroller straps. Compared to the stroller hooks, stroller straps look better and will better complement the looks of your expensive bag.

Word of Caution

However, a word of caution here. Make sure the bag you hang is not very heavy. It’s a lot better to use the storage area underneath the seat to store things. But if you must hang on the handle, make sure the purse, diaper bag or shopping bag is not very heavy, as it could cause the strollers to tip over (if there is too much weight at the back).
