All GB Pockit Strollers reviewed (Pockit, Pockit+, Pockit+ All-City, Pockit Air)

With the introduction of the new GB Pockit+ All City, GB has tried to improve upon some of the issues with the previous Pockit models. Armed with improved features, GB’s new model comes across as a promising contender in micro travel stroller segment. It collapses to a super-compact size, comes with padded adjustable harness, decent canopy, and rear wheel parking.

Highlights and Differences

The gb Pockit stroller now comes in four variants: Pockit, Pockit+, Pockit+ All-City, Pockit Air.

  • All models have max weight capacity of 55 lbs.
  • All models feature all-terrain wheels (Pockit+ All-City is more suited for urban use)
  • The regular Pockit and Pockit Air are very lightweight models. Pockit+ and Pockit+ All-City are comparatively heavier because of the additional features (but all of them will go in the overhead bin of the plane).

  • Pockit Air
Weighs 10 lbs, small canopy with no side coverage (seat is more breathable, good for hotter days, hence the name Air).

  • Pockit+ All-City
Weighs 12.6 lbs, better styling (anodized aluminum frame), single-tires (other models have double tires), better suspension, recliner seat, adjustable leg rest, slightly larger basket, slightly bigger canopy (compared to Pockit +), folds a bit differently from the rest and is easier.

  • Pockit+
Weighs 13 lbs, recliner seat, bigger canopy with side coverage, car seat adapters included, slightly wider and heavier than the above two models.

  • Pockit
Regular model, Weighs 9.5 lbs, small canopy with no side coverage.

Introduction to Pockit Strollers

The main USP of the Gb (short for Goodbaby) Pockit stroller is that it folds into a small size that can fit into a grocery bag, in overhead cabin or under the seat on a flight. In fact, you will feel like opening and closing this stroller just to watch the reaction of people around you.

But it’s not priced like any other lightweight/umbrella stroller; the people at Goodbaby have priced this umbrella stroller as much as a full-featured stroller. I guess they feel there are people who will probably pay for this small-size luxury just for the convenience it offers, and they are probably right.

The Pockit stroller has many takers thanks to its folding prowess (the Pockit requires two hands to fold, which some people may find frustrating though).

The gb Pockit also has some nice extras like small storage compartment, basic sun shade, adjustable straps to make kids comfortable.

The Pockit is now available in different variants such as Pockit Air, Pockit+, Pockit+ All-City.

Here’s a video that shows the differences between the Pockit variants

Pockit Lightweight Stroller: Compact, foldable stroller will fit in your tote

The Pockit stroller is the world’s smallest (folding stroller) and the most compact stroller currently available on the market. Its a small stroller with a small fold (12″ x 7″ x 20″ when folded).

Pockit Air: Review

The Pockit Air All-Terrain is a lightweight stroller that you can take along on all your trips. It is easy to fold and store it in the hand baggage compartment of the airplane.

The backrest features a breathable mesh fabric that keeps the child cool on hot days. You can add a snug padded inlay as an accessory on cooler days to keep the baby warm.

Pockit Stroller: Review

The Pockit Stroller is a great option for parents who love to travel – ideal for trips by train, plane or simply visiting your favorite cafes. When folded, this stroller can actually fit under an airplane seat, or can even be squeezed into a purse.

You will have to go through the instructions carefully in order to understand how to open it up at the first time.

When folded, the size is amazingly small, saves lots of space in the car, or even at home. When folded, you can even carry it to our table at the restaurant instead of leaving it outside. Even for airport travel, you don’t have to wait for gate checked strollers after getting off the plane. No more gate-checking bulky strollers or flimsy strollers that break easily (or get dirty as they get thrown around during cargo handling).

The gb Pockit made the Guinness Book of World Records for smallest folded stroller

If you have 2 kids and decide to head off to Disney, you can use a more substantial stroller (with full recline, full shade, etc.) for your infant/1 year old, and use the Pockit for your elder one. year old. You can fold up the Pockit and keep it underneath the other stroller in case the elder one decides to walk around and explore.

“Our inspiration was to allow parents to travel anywhere with their children and have this easy, lightweight product,” GB’s marketing team.

This really seems to be a great option to travel a little lighter; if you have travel plans on the horizon then do consider getting one; its small enough to fit in a backpack.

The stroller has several nice features such as sunshade, eight creative wheels, safety harness. Max weight carrying capacity is 55 pounds (11 pounds extra in storage).

Pros & Cons

  • Pros: Looks Stylish, Lightweight and small fold makes it comfortable (Easy to fold). Travel-friendly. No assembly required. Its sturdy (handles most terrains well) and maneuvers great.
  • Cons: Small canopy, small storage, doesn’t recline, no parent console

The basket underneath is small, good enough for water bottles and snacks. Most parents wish that GB design an alternative (bigger) shade that could be bought as a replacement.

While the Pockit may not offer lots of bells and whistles but its is surprisingly sturdy and very compact that can be thrown into a bag, a trunk, or the bottom of a shopping cart.

  • I received the GB Pockit to facilitate my review. When a new baby comes into your family you'll often ask yourself how such a tiny human requires so much stuff. In the last year my living room, basement, bedroom and the trunk of my car have accumulated so much stuff. The swings, car seats, bouncer seats, play mats, clothing, toys, diaper storage and strollers. The list is never ending but unfortunately, my storage space is not.

A few months ago I contemplated leaving half of my groceries in the parking lot after opening my trunk to see that it was jam packed with the stroller, the hiking backpack carrier and a few folding lounge chairs. Shortly after that dramatic catastrophe, I was given an opportunity to review the gb Pockit stroller and guys, I'm not kidding when I say this stroller is literally life changing. I mean, it folds up so small that I can put it into a tote bag - and, almost into my favorite purse. I'm not even kidding.

This stroller is amazing. I mean, amazing.

It's super light so I can carry it up and down the basement stairs, and easily lift it in and out of my trunk without a wheel getting caught here or a handle getting caught there. After today's walk I took the literally, eight seconds, to fold this baby back up to it's super small and compact size and tossed in into my trunk which now has more than enough room for groceries and then some. I am really looking forward to traveling with this stroller because, with a big family like mine, and all the assorted baby things that have to go, there just isn't enough room for everything and vacationing without a stroller isn't ever going to happen. This means I get to pack more clothes, people!!

Now, if you've ever taken a small child on an airplane you're probably cringing at the thought of the whole stroller fiasco. Wheel it to the gate, check it, wait for it when you land, hope it's not broken, etc. Did you read the part where I mentioned that this stroller fits in a tote bag? Let me say it again, this stroller fits into a tote bag. You know what that means for travel, right? Yeah, overhead on the plane, no waiting, no worrying - it even fits under an airplane seat!!

Not only is it compact, the gb Pockit stroller is cute and safe. I really love the adjustable harness and the storage area below. Whether vacationing by car, or by airplane, or just out and about for an afternoon at the park, the gb Pockit will get you rolling in no time.
